U-16 Cricket League Finals

Hey guys,
Its been long since I blogged (4 months I think). Anyways I just got my 10th grade results and I somehow managed to get all A*(A stars or A plus, what ever you want to call it).
YAY!!!
Anyways back to my main topic. We recently finished our inaugural U-16 Cricket League. I played for the team Singapore Cricket Club, and am proud to say WE WON!
It was a rough season though, and truthfully, I never expected to win. I though we would come second or third. We won our 1st game, drew our 2nd but won the last two. Thus, we ended up second on the table and were through to the finals!
The finals was between the Singapore Cricket Club (SCC, thats my team) versus the Singapore Cricket Association (SCA).
P.O.I - all cricket teams in Singapore do not begin with Singapore Cricket "something", only two teams do :P
Back to the main point, we lost the toss and were put to bowl first. I bowled 6 overs, got 3 wickets and gave 11 runs. Though I'm happy with my figures, I felt I should have gotten their last 3 batsmen out as well.
(But oh well, I guess I should be happy with what I have)
They were all out for 107 in 27.5 overs.
So we needed 108 off 30 overs. This was actually not a challenging target and I knew we would win since we had a lot of good batsmen.
As I expected, I didn't have to bat since our top 4 batsmen finished off the game in 21.1 overs. Atulya, our vice-captain played brilliantly, scoring 43, although I felt he deserved a 50.
When the winning runs were scored, we all ran onto the field, all ecstatic that we had won. The feeling you get after you are crowned champions is indescribable.

Next week is a party organized by the club celebrating our victory, so I'm pretty excited for it.
So anyways, I have holidays now and I hope that I can think of new topics to blog on.
Actually it would be better if you can post some topics in the comment section below, and I'll write something on it.

Until next time, Sayonara :D
